jacob + kaitlin : lifestyle engagement session

we were really excited when jacob and kaitlin told us they wanted an old schoolhouse feel to their engagement session. they wanted to think outside the box and do something unique, which we obviously were all about! jacob and kaitlin met while studying so she thought it would be fitting to have that be the theme of their session. when kaitlin asked if we knew of any old schoolhouses … we were super excited that we actually did … this particular schoolhouse was built in the late 1800′s and has such unique character! we had an incredible shoot and were so very happy with the final results … enjoy :)

chris + liz : michigan state lifestyle engagement

We traveled over to East Lansing to photograph chris and liz’s lifestyle engagement session. These lovebirds met at Michigan State and wanted to do a “collegiate” style session incorporating significant locations and books related to the subjects they studied in school … and we loved every second of it! We love creating images that are true to a couple’s relationship and express who they are … and we think these images fit chris and liz to a ‘T’ :)

jerry + jamie : lifestyle engagement

We are big fans of Jerry & Jamie … they flew in from NYC for some wedding planning & it worked out perfectly for us to do their engagement pics while they were back in MI. We shot their session at Meadow Brook Hall and it was the perfect setting. They are two of the sweetest people you’ve ever met … not to mention Jerry has a sweet Irish accent. We are super pumped for their wedding in October … we can only image how crazy it will be. Enjoy.

This was such a fun session for us to document … we are big big fans of Joe & Erin and were so happy to get to do some fun pics of them together at a local apple orchard. We get to work a lot with Erin because she works at Modern Day Floral and we were honored that she chose us to be her photographers! We can’t wait for their wedding next summer in northern Michigan! Enjoy a few of our favs :)
